Community and Content Guidelines

Community Guidelines

Our number one priority is to create a fun and safe place for kinksters to call home here on the internet. To make sure Doms and subs is a fun and safe place, the following list of general community guidelines should be respected by everyone. Your participation on Doms and subs is always subject to our Terms of Use. Enjoy! If this is your first time joining a kinky community we know it can be scary at first. We recommend you go at a pace that you feel most comfortable. Join groups that catch your attention, read what other people have to say, participate in discussions and strike up conversations with people that pique your interest.

Play Nice

It is ok to disagree with someone, but it’s not ok altogether to attack them. We don't accept aggressive personal attacks, criminal accusations, making fun of, trolling, flaming, bullying, racial slurs… pretty much any type of disrespectful behaviour that degrades the quality of discussions and people's experience here on Doms and subs. For example: “I totally disagree with you” is ok… “I think you are a dumb ass fucktard” is not ok.

Be Open-Minded and Non-Judgemental

Please help us make sure Doms and subs stays this way. There is no place on here for any “my kink is ok but yours is not” attitude.

No Pictures or Videos of Kids Allowed

We do not want to see any pictures or videos of people under the age of 18 on Doms and subs. It is not illegal to have innocent pictures or videos of kids on sites like Doms and subs but we prefer to keep a 18+ rule.

You Must Be At Least 18 Years Old

To join Doms and subs you need to be at least 18 years old.

Think Before You Post it

You can remove any content on your profile at any time but you should think twice before you start or comment on any discussions. To maintain the integrity of discussions we don't remove the original post or any comments unless they break one of our guidelines or our Terms of Use.

Only Post Pictures and Videos You Own or Have The Rights to Post

You should only upload pictures and videos which you have taken or which you were given permission to post on Doms and subs. Has someone taken one of your pictures or videos and uploaded it to Doms and subs without your permission? We can take them down for you. Check out our Terms of Use for more information on how to report copyright infringements.

Private Conversations Should Be Kept Private

Private conversations between two members should stay private, unless of course, the two people who were having the conversation both agree to it being posted publicly. It’s just common courtesy.

Don't Out Anyone

Each person on Doms and subs is comfortable with different pieces of their personal information being revealed. Some people don't mind you using their full real name and others don't want you to even use their first name. Please make a conscious effort to respect each person's comfort level. Also, to protect members of the community, we don't allow phone numbers or addresses to be posted publicly on Doms and subs unless they are for a business, organization or event.

Take Everything You Read With A Grain of Salt

Doms and subs is for entertainment, informational, and educational purposes only. What people post is not verified by anyone for it's accuracy. What you read on Doms and subs should not be construed as actual, professional advice. You should always consult a qualified professional.

Spam and Cross-Posting

Nobody likes spam other than spammers, we promise to protect you from it to the best of our ability. This includes cross-posting. We will not tolerate anyone posting the same message more than 3 times a day anywhere publicly on Doms and subs.

Someone Breaks One Of Our Community Guidelines

We don't scan Doms and subs other than for spam or scammers. So if you come across something that goes against our community guidelines, it is probably because nobody reported it. Please don't hesitate to report anything that does not look kosher to admin@domsandsubs.com and one of our Caretakers will investigate. What happens when someone breaks any of our guidelines? Generally we have a "three strikes and you're out!" policy, but of course it all depends on the situation.

Got Questions or Suggestions?

If you ever need clarification on any part of the community guidelines or have a question, suggestion, a bit of feedback, or a problem with the site, please feel free to contact us at admin@domsandsubs.com

Changes to the Community Guidelines

Like Doms and subs itself, the Community Guidelines will evolve over time, so make sure to check back often for updates.

Content Guidelines

Due to obscenity laws in the US, Canada, and some European countries, if we openly fantasize about certain topics we can find ourselves in a lot of trouble. To protect the community, please don't publicly eroticize any underage, incest, zoophilia, necrophilia, or scat fetishes they might have.

Underage

We can’t allow any images of anyone underage (no matter how innocent the image might be), cartoons that sexualize underage characters, or any discussions that might be construed as eroticizing someone that is underage. Ageplay (Daddy/girl, Mommy/boy, etc.) is ok as long as you don't mention age in a sexual context. Non-sexual conversations involving someone underage is also ok for example parenting discussions.

Incest

Even if it's between consenting adults, we can't allow any images, stories, fantasies, discussions, etc. that eroticize any type of incestuous relationships between parents, kids, grandparents, siblings, uncles and nieces, aunties and nephews.

Zoophilia, Necrophilia, and Scat

We can't allow anyone to eroticize or look for anyone to enjoy zoophilia, necrophilia, or scat with. This does not include pet play, furries, human pets, vampire or zombie play. Diaper play, enemas, and especially rimming are all good as long as no poop is visible.

Hard Crush & Animal Cruelty

It's not ok to crush, simulate crushing, fantasize about crushing, link to crushing, or discuss planning on crushing an animal. Animals include, but are not limited to, mammals, fish, crustaceans, reptiles, amphibians, insects, etc. Crushing food and inanimate objects is ok. In general, intellectual discussions, jokes between friends, and private discussions should all be fair game. Our guidelines aren’t black and white nor do we think it's healthy for them to be. For every guideline there are tens of thousands of edge cases that we will have to review on a case by case basis and act on them by taking into consideration multiple factors including context, how the average person might interpret something, etc. If at any point you're ever concerned something you're posting might be misconstrued the wrong way then please make the extra effort to assure things are clear as possible. If you have any questions about our guidelines don't hesitate to email admin@domsandsubs.com.   Last updated October 14th, 2015
